Hello. I’m Tom, I live and work in Bath as a marketing consultant. I’m also cofounder of BathSPARK, a local networking event for techs. Since I arrived in the city over 2 years ago, I’ve been on a mission to establish and grow the best coworking hub in the world- right here in Bath.
After many months of discussion and negotiation it now looks like I’ve got funding and a space- 3500 square feet within the Guildhall right in the city centre. I’m now launching this site to share my vision, and to find out what exactly people want from a coworking space. If you are a small tech or creative business then I may have already met with you at some point over the past year or so as I started to learn about what people needed, but now is the time to get specific, tell me what you think we all need, and what you would do with the space.
The site will be developed over the next few weeks, but if you join now, you can start to have your say by registering your interest, which will help usfind out exactly what people in Bath want from a coworking hub. Then you can add your thoughts, comments and ideas to the Get Satisfaction forum. This will help me present the best possible case to those in the city I have to convince in order to obtain a building for the community. At some point I’d like to get you on a tour of the space so you can see what could be possible, and I’m going to get a floorplan on the site which we can all mark up, discuss and generally scribble all over.
